Please please no Tuberville.
But there is a strong possibility of this.

I have a lot of disagreements with Miles but also look at next year and see a team that could be preseason top 3 and
what are your reasons why we will be a top 3 team next year?

It would be nice to have a coach who knew what to do with talent and knew how to manage a football game.

God, I don't ask you for much. Please send Miles to Michigan. Please, I'll volunteer at the Salvation Army for a year. Please hear my prayer.
Amen.
Prayer heard, you should be prepared to pay if prayer answered!!!!!!! Have a good day.

I really don't know what to expect next year except Bama and Florida to both be undefeated at this time and SEC refgate to continue.

I think he'd be an excellent fit, certainly worth a look, should Miles go in a different direction.
Plus, I believe at one time, TT talked about being the LSU coach.

That's a joke, right? You can't be serious.

I think next year our team will be better and Florida will be worse. Plus we get Bama at home though they will likely be undefeated and the Number 1 team coming in but anything can happen.
Basically I look at what we are losing next year and I feel confident that the D will be better and the offense, quite frankly, cannot get any worse.

im dead serious
rich rod is a better coach
if Michigan fires him, it would be stupid considering the amount of time he has been there. It had better be for other reasons than football

RR good for gimmicky stuff at stepping stone schools, but not a first rate program like LSU. Would be a step down for LSU.

Les Miles took over an Oklahoma State program that had 11 losing seasons in the previous 12 years...and never had a 3-9 season. In fact after the first year he went to 3 straight bowls for the first time in Okie State history.
RR took over a program that hadn't had a losing season in decades...and went 3-9. He might not make a bowl this year either.
RR was nothing but mediocre at WVU until he recruited Slaton and White. And Miami and Virginia Tech left the Big East at the same time.
Sorry LE, you're on serious crack if you think RR is a good coach, or a better coach than Les Miles.
Jeepers I hope the people doing the hiring at LSU don't agree with you. I can feel the 90's coming on again...not again please.

IF Miles does leave:
Truthfully, I am tired of having to find a new coach every 5 years and I have no doubt that would be the case if we hired one of the upcoming guys like Kelly. I think we are better off taking the risk on a guy like Gruden who has been around the NFL, seen it, and wants a new challenge on the college level. I think a guy like that would be here for a number of very good, productive, winning years.

At least rich rod excels in the spread offense.
So you know we would put points on the board.
Miles excels in absolutely nothing.
The only thing one can say he is good at is special teams fakes and maybe second half motivation but that cancels itself out when the team comes out lookin like shite and committing 32 first half penalties every game.

Why do people continue to bring his name up for a LSU coaching position? He is 64 years-old. He's DONE.
I think people continue to mention him wishing we could have gotten him back in the late 80's/early 90's and experienced the success he brought to UF.

If you like RR, then why don't you like Paul Johnson of Georgia Tech more?
PJ took over less - much less - talent at GT than RR did at Michigan, greatly improved his team the first year (versus 3-9 for RR), and this year is a lock to play in the ACCCG in his second year.
I don't care for either of those guys, but how anybody could pick RR over PJ is beyond me.
