since when is washington a benchmark or a game you say I beat that team which is why I should be included in the talk that I am a top team. They are up and coming, they still have some losses coming up for them.

Washington is not the benchmark but ND beating a top 10 team is. The media will ignore everything else they've done (close games against cupcakes, pathetic schedule) and they will be back in the conversation if this happens.

And for the 'hell no' crowd, what has USC done offensively this year to seperate themselves from other teams? Beaten Cal? San Jose St? If there's one team that does have losses coming it's USC in the Pac10.

Not without their top WR Floyd. If Floyd were healthy, this would be a very tight game because that offense is great with him there. Without him, they are still good on offense but easier to defend. USC will double Golden Tate, and to an extent the TE Rudolph, and will force ND to try to run the ball.

If ND were to win (it won't happen), they would start to get national attention and consideration for a top bowl. Their offense is really good, but their defense is still a year away.

SC 28 ND 16

Stats mean nothing when it comes to upsets. You of all teams should know this based on recent inexplicable losses.

I am just showing numbers so people see what each team has done.

You can speculate about who will win and why. I let the players and coaches decide that on gameday.

I think SC is a two loss team unless AZ can beat them too. Udub will lose to Oregon, Oregon St., and vry possibly UCLA on the road (neuheisel will throw a rape party for every point they win buy). I think they are better than what you think. If nd can win then the hype will only last until they lose another game on their schedule. Stanford is already a loss imo, but there is another one or hopefully two that will trip them up.

I hate Notre Dame as much as the next guy, but they have proven at minimum that they will not give up. They have way more fight in them this year.

I could see an upset if USC is unable to uncork their offense. That really should not be a problem since ND's defense has been terrible.

Possible, but not probable.

Hells yeah. Mondo Armstead is back too, as if the D-line weren't already crackin' fools in the backfield.

Mays is coming off his best game ever at Cal, and Barkley should open it up a little this weekend.

Should be a hoot. USC -31 ND - 13

Yes. USC must pressure Clausen all day and force him to make mistakes. ND hasn't faced a D like SC's, but SC hasn't faced an O like ND's either.

It's a big time rivalry game AT notre dame. ND is undefeated at home. Anything can happen in rivalry games.

And while it will be nice having RoJo back, the kid hasn't played in months! He's not suddenly gonna make 8 catches for 150 yards or something.

I could see SC losing this game. I hope not, but I could see it.

Since ND beat Wash, who beat USC, shouldn't they have no problem winning?!?!?!?!? Right??

One more reason I am looking forward to beating ND (as if I needed one) is that it will send the proponents of transitivity (aka "tran-tards") into mass hysteria.

USC > ND > UW > USC > ND > UW ad nauseum.
