if the saints go to the super bowl

I can't decide if I would rather fork out at least a grand for a ticket, or just get a room in the quarter to experience new orleans winning its first championship, what say you? I'm leaning towards partying in nola fwiw

I would go to NOLA... watched the 2006 Superbowl from the Quarter because I had bought tickets to NOLA from Los Angeles after we got to the NFC champ. game "just in case."

Staying home with the rest of the thousands of fans who I have shared the ups and downs of the Saints with for years. The party would (will) not be the same anywhere else....it would (will) actually have more feeling/meaning here at home. Despite every difference in opinion on the team....that night everyone would be feeling and thinking the same thing but only here at home.

Going to Chicago was great but the tickets were reasonable. Superbowl is tough to get and cost a ton.

The Superbowl this year is on the first weekend of Mardi Gras parades. WHEN the Saints win, it will be the biggest 10 day party, leading up to Fat Tuesday, the world has ever seen!

My sentiments are exactly the same. Room downtown. Party all day, watch the game on a big screen with other Who Dats. Hoop and holler in the Quarter until daylight when they win.
