If you are not limiting your question to football I nominate Megan Flavin. She lead Barbe HS to the state championship game in softball last season. Best bat that I have ever seen and good fielding. I heard she plays rec. sports and maintains a very high GPA. Oh yeah, Megan is a frosh at LSU.

I am not sure but I think Byron Robertson from St.Thomas in Hammond did not do anything after being named LA mr.football

hilarious. I went to HS with him. Let's just say he didn't exactly take school seriously back then.

I was shocked when he got into Clemson.

Ok, if no one else is going to say it, I will. Hello Mr. Flavin. Also good to hear that she maintains a very high GPA even though she doesn't even have a semester of college under her belt. I didn't even know that was possible..

yeh aaron boone and Julius Bessix is the best example I can think off. Both with Scolarships to Clemson, and booted before they even started fall practice..

Boone was really good though, very fast with 10.5 100 speed.... But he liked to party!

Who was the running back from Independence before Toefield that had a single digit ACT score?

Certainly no one else is going to say it because you speak as if you have the brains of a citrus beverage. I am not Mr. Flavin. I do not know Mr.Flavin. I do not know if there is a Mr. Flavin. Try and imagine that high schools and LSU summer semesters calculate Grade Point averages for students if you can possibly grasp such a concept. It is wonderful how little effort it takes to be better informfed if you care to expend the time it takes to do the research.

This won't answer your question, but there was a quarterback in 2003 named Anthony Holmes. He was ranked in the Advocate's second dozen, and most of those guys end up playing D-1 football. I think he had a 13 on his ACT.

I'm exaggerating when I say single digits, but it wasn't impressive in the least bit. Remember watching him play in the early-mid 90's.
