Just got back from seeing it! It was awesome. Scariest movie I have seen in quite a while. Really good horror flick.

It was actually pretty funny as well. I thought it was neat how they set it up so that whenever night time rolled around, you just braced yourself because you knew shite was about to go down.

Confused? Is it actual footage? True Story? What is it based off of? Is it just a regular movie that plays out something like the blair witch?

At the beginning of the movie the filemakers thank the families of the guy and girl in the movie and the police department for letting them make the movie.

No, it is a Blair Witch type of movie. Nothing about this is real. If you want proof you can look up the actors on IMDB. The girl has a movie in post-production right now and Paranormal Activity came out in 2007.

Have you seen the trailer? I agree loud "jumps" are not scary by themselves, but it looks like the movie does a good job of building suspense before BAM! And the point I was trying to make was I do not think this movie will be the same at your house vs at the theater... unless of course you have a kick arse setup.

well I was trying not to say that because if you go into the movie not knowing that it makes it much more enjoyable.
