Pretty cool stuff!!

Anybody ever do a location pilgrimage for one of their favorite movies? When I was living in San Antonio I took a trip to check out the gas station where the original "Texas Chain Saw Massacre" was filmed. It was pretty neat.

that is pretty cool. I've always wanted to do shite like that but I guess I wouldn't even know where to begin.

I did however shoot a few baskets on the very court where they filmed White Men Can't Jump. That's about as close as I've ever come to doing this.

We used to party and hang out in the mansion where the premiere episode of In The Heat of The Night was filmed. It belonged to the family of some friends and was not lived in for many years.

That's the only one I can think off right offhand.

When I first moved to Austin, my wife and I drove around the city checking out "Dazed and Confused" locations. Lots of fun.

Great Post!

When we went to Seattle last weekend, we spent Sunday driving around the Olympic Peninsula and Forks, WA and La Push. Turns out, hardly any of the film Twilight was shot in Forks.

Cool post. It'd be cool to see that type of thing done for several movies, then and now stuff.

I liked how, thru the magic of Hollywood, neither of them had to wait two hours in line, or pay the fee to get to the top.
