I'm not going to disagree with you. I have sensed a detente between our two schools in the last couple years. And was surprised to see one that was so RABID. It really makes SC fans appear to be MAJOR assholes. It's an eight page semi-hysterical thread for the love of Pete(no pun intended).

The WEARESC.com board is obsessed with SEC being considered the premminent college football conference and are compeletely frustrated that LSU and Florida keep going to the BCS C.G. instead of their Trojans.
Since their Trojans had the same won/loss record as LSU in 2007 and Florida in 2008, they consider the BCS to be corrupt for not sending their Trojans ahead of both SEC teams.
They are so obsessed that they had a thread for the North Carolina vs S. Carolina game tonight. They were all pissed S.Carolina won.

There is exactly 1 thread related to SEC in the first 2 pages of threads on Wearesc. Most SEC LSU what have you threads are started by SEC and BIG XII posters.
And you guys have definitely mellowed over the last year. I initially came to TD because it had the most SC related news and topics outside of Wearesc.com! (including ESPN and the LA Times). But I stayed because this is such a fun place to banter and talk shite. Keep on keepin' on! I look forward to some day havin a drink with you fools in TS.

ARe you serious?!! Please go check out the MSB and the multiple threads on the oregon game. (In addition to the ones about the punch though).
Because on SC boards, there are just so so many:
-LSU-UW threads starting months in advance (see the multiple SC-OSU thredas here)
-multiple over/under on LSU loss threads
- going off on LSU every time a preseason poll is released
-updates in LSU's QB's
-updates on other LSU players
-other threads that morph into LSU bashing

An SC fan posting on an LSU message board about LSU's obsession with SC is pretty much the height of unintentional irony.
It's been six years. Let it go, everyone. I don't think a majority of either fanbase really cares that much about the other school except in the general idea that both fanbases believe they root for the top program in the country.
Then again, I don't understand what possesses anyone to troll another team's message board. I'm actually ok with the fact that, for example, Bama fans believe Bama is great.

The people on that board are downright terrible for the most part, and they love to rip on everyone that doesn't live in CA. Here's what one of them had to say after the BSU game last night
So people in LA are rednecks, as well as people in Idaho? Apparently everyone that doesn't live in CA is a redneck. Good to know.
