They're actually okay, I post there quite a bit. I've sent some LSU visors, T's, etc. and they've sent me USC ones. I love to wear them around here to see reactions.
The lady who started the thread actually sent my daughters some nice charm bracelets. She's a very kind lady, Miles just REALLY gets her goat, as you can see. She said in one post that it wasn't anything against LSU fans, per se.

A USC guy came on the board a couple of years ago and came down here with his buds and we plyed them with food and drink and a game (Virginia Tech ?).
He was BLOWN away.
Too bad he didn't post about it on their boards.

It seems that a lot of fans across the country have some anger and disdain for Les?
That seems a bit strange, why in the world would someone say Les is a snake oil salesman?
He comes off as a genuine like able person.. I don't get that.. I have also met a lot of other SEC fans that really like and respect Les..

I don't get it either. He seems like one of the most likeable, geniune coaches around. I think it may just be jealousy. They don't like to see a nice guy like that come out on top the way he does, so they try really hard to come up with some fault. (oh he called a time out at the wrong time 5 years ago, woo whoo, what a dummy, etc) (he talks like a normal person, not like a calculating slime ball, therefore he must not be smart, etc etc etc.)

Anyone who says that the average LSU fan is a hillbilly is just a moron who has never been to Tiger Stadium and has no idea what they are talking about. People see the movie "Waterboy" and think they know what Louisiana is like.

Thse few fans do not represnt most. The obsessions is much more one sided than LSU fans will admit. How many FLSU stickers are there in Socal? Compare that thread to the cresendo that began a few months ago of USC threads here on td.com. Compare that to talk radio here in BR LA where the mere metnion of USC elicits caller after caller of frothing LSU fans.

If you go to a USC message board you will see LSU or SEC Mentioned.
If you go to and LSU message board you will see a USC, Oklahoma, Michigan, Ohio State thread and how no conference can compare to SEC.
LSU fans are just as obsessed as USC fans and those that seem obsessed are probably the minority.

and USC threads here lead by far. On SC boards, you see more threads about other PAC-10 teams, UCLA, Notre Dame and whichever BCS major team we are currently in a home and away with. Face it, LSU fans are more obsessed with SC than the other way around. There are tons of FUSC stickers around town. You do not see those kinds of LSU stickers in Socal. There have never been LSU billboards in SoCal. Never a website with media tour about LSU or a van driving around ESPN about LSU. Bring up a certain year to any LSU fan and there is a meltdown.

I do not think they lead, but they do get mentioned alot. Anytime ESPN, FoxSports, CNNSI, or any other site mentions USC and great it comes straight to the rant.

True dat. And very often, USC team and player updates make it here quicker than the USC boards.
Upon his return, MJRuff had been starting a lot of USC threads. But since he is gone again, other LSU fans have more than taken up his slack here.

TigerRant is probably similar to the USC message board. You have a few that are obsessed with the other team based on what happened in 2003. So when something with that team happens they feel the need to post it on their message board.

The Rant is MUCH more subdued now--compared to one or more years ago. The mods did a great job of moving thread after thread to MSB. Most finally got the message. It was funny a while back.
