i mean some of their fans are really arrogant bc they win the acc and finally got a shitty enough team in a bcs bowl game to win a game. this is a unique situation to me because ohio state actually has talent, and usc has talent and plays in a decent conference. VT is a bunch of "hard working kids" whose "motors are always running." when they play a team with elite talent, like lsu, they get killed. i actually hope that alabama beats the crap out of them

they get a lot of attention and their fans have pretty big heads for bein a 4 loss team in the shitty acc. you would think that losing that much in a crappy league and needing a shitty big east team in bcs game to finally win would keep them grounded.

For a while I had forgotten that last year was the year ECU beat them. I saw the other day and remember, holy shite they lost 4 games including a game to ECU and still won the ACC.

just basically the attention the program gets and yes, their fans.

seems odd considering tech only lost 1 less game. give lsu vt's schedule last year, and we win the acc. thats saying a lot considering we sucked.

VT's fans? They're a one trick pony. The school basically sucks at everything else besides football. How many national championships do they have IN ANY SPORT?

Now, your post is laced with all sorts of ACC bashing. You can say what you want, but when looking at the OCC play over the years, the ACC performs fairly well. Even versus the vaulted SEC.

If anything I'd say they're one of teams in the Top 10 who have gotten the least amount of coverage this offseason.
