Any suggestions on places that sell cast iron jambalaya pots? Also what size pot should i get if looking to serve for 50 - 75 people?

15 Gallon. 10 would work, but I always get a size larger.

shane or slim will sell you a burner with your pot. tell them you want either a navajo or a roll around combo.

Didn't realize how expensive a setup like that would run.

R&R Welding
Paulina, La

Bought one from him last year. I think the guy is a welder and has a side business. If you are looking to buy a stand with it I recommend buying from this guy.

I bought a 10 gallon roll-around combo a few months ago. Love it!

You can sometimes get a complete rig on sale at Vernon's Hardware for a pretty good price.

Setup from R&R is killer. Get him to put casters on your burner and hinge the lid. I also went with the larger burner. I have 15 gal setup. You won't be disappointed.

Try to find this guy at the Prairieville Flea Market.

It will be cheaper.

Dwight is at the flea market. He's not there anymore due to health reasons. Same pots, straight from shane

That thing would weigh 500 lbs, i have a cast iron pot at the house that can probably serve 15-20, and it is pretty damn heavy.

Epic Fail
5 - 7.5 gallons of jambo weighs 50-75 lbs., 500lbs is just absurd.

Thats a great deal, but that looks like an imported pot...

The american made pots have a much smoother interior than the imports

The imports are fine, just saying compare apples to apples when your buying one.

I would get a 20 gallon pot for that kind of crowd. My recommendation for cast iron cookware is cajuncastiron.com. They are inexpensive and if you are in the area of the owner he will work out a delivery, so you save money on shipping and on the product itself.
