according to the news there are some economic problems some folks are dealing with. evidently quite a few people have lost their jobs over the past year.

or it could be that these fans are recognizing the Les Miles is a buffoon and don't want to fly to Seattle to see the team lose another game because of his goofy playcalling, playing non-talented seniors and poor preparation by his assistants because they're too busy trying to invent a new BBQ sauce...(or maybe that's just why Maximus isn't going)

Don't know why, but I've been seeing a lot of tickets up for sale too.

I know at least 30 people making the trip and not one of them has waivered. We request tickets for every road game but we usually don't make all of them. In the end, I think Seattle will be flooded with purple and gold (12-13K).

Don't get caught up in who is going and not going. When its all said and done, there will be a lot of LSU fans in the stands including myself.

I hate it when my rich friends ask me to go on all these road trips, this one to Seattle in particular. And get pissed when I say no. They make tons of money, I don't.

Rag, I think it's because they have recently gone over to the Money Talk Board and just learned that the economic world as we know it is about to end and they don't want to be marooned in Seattle when it happens.

I'm not surprised. I was shocked to hear and see of so many that were planning to go given the huge costs and large amount of time it would take to see a football game against what has been a very weak Washingnton team.

We've made it our summer trip - going to Vancouver a few days prior to the game. Prices aren't too bad from KC to Seattle. You probably are looking @ close to $2,000 though - a lot of dough for a road trip for probably a ho-hum game. KC.

Well, we (wife and I) were going to go and make a week-long trip out of it.

Two things happened over the past 7 months to change our plans:

1. She's pregnant and due in Dec., so no chance of going on a Sideways-like drinking binge thru the Wash. state wine country

2. She got the hook up on 45 yd line tickets for the Florida game (helluva birthday present, I'd say)
