Miles said "if i had to choose now and the season was tomorrow, Jefferson would start" last night at the Tiger Tour in Houston, FWIW.

Just made the same comment at SEC media day.

Where does Miles say JJ is the starter? He says if the game was tomorrow, he'd be the starter. Nobody asked who the starter will be in Sept.

He normally waits and lets them compete for it. I like it, lets him get comfortable as a leader. The players will get comfortable with him too.

The Advocate would've broken this story first, but it was intercepted.

This is news??

I agree with him "naming the starter" now. From all reports, JJ has the respect of the team...and that goes a long way toward building team chemistry. That's something that was GLARINGLY lacking last season.

Im sure JL is a very nice kid and i hope he spends his life banging playmates and rolling around in piles of money, but hes a terrible fricking quarterback (who the frick throws into double coverage in overtime).
Jordan on the other hand is the truth. i watch the GaTech game all the time and hes unbelievable. I know that was just one game, but i dare you any JL supporters to point out plays where he shows as much promise as Jordan did that day.

Good for him
I suppose Lee will be applying for a transfer soon?
