Ever read Tiger's lips? What about slamming the clubs to the ground or into the bag? What about staring down someone in the crowd as if a distraction occurred everytime a shot goes bad?

Tiger is the #1 golfer in the world at this time. That is not in dispute. Also it should be acknowleged that Tiger's foundation is extremely generous and active. It supports many many beneficial works for children. Tiger also supports the military which in my book is awesome.

But does he owe the game and it's fans more respect and should his on course behavior improve?

i don't care if it improves, but he should expect to take critcism for his behaviour if it doesn't.

if this is the only thing wrong with the most dominate, popular, rich athlete in america, i think it is ok. he is ultra competitive (that's part of what makes him so good). i will give him a pass.

Ever read Kevin Garnett's lips?

Any football coaches lips?

This is all purely speculative, but I would guess Tiger is one of the nicer athletes around

Would you rather him be fighting dogs on the side? Or getting arrested for possession? If all he does it utter nasty words and slam a few clubs down every once in awhile, I think it'll be okay.

He is certainly more well-liked than Mickelson among his peers. He is a competitor that wants to WIN every time on the course. Not just pocket a paycheck. Jordan was the same.

The other players respect Tiger and are thankful
that 11 place money is what 1st place money use to be before he got there.

I kind of like that he shows his emotions. It makes me feel better about hacking my way through a course. And it's not like he's constantly throwing temper tantrums out there.

We think alike, If all athletes approached their game the way Tiger and Jordan do, sports would be so much more intense. When you watch Jordan playing a playoff game with the flu then watch Wade get wheeled off in a wheelchair for a shoulder injury one can really see the difference.

I saw Tiger in person a few years back at the TPC at Sawgrass and he ignored all the fans and had the biggest hissy fits on the course. Needless to say I didn't follow him around the course.

I am not saying that he should talk with anyone, but most of the Golfers would atleast tip their hat as they approached the teebox.

he has won 3 times this year, the most on tour. he has the most top tens and has played 25% less tournaments than everyone else. also, the world rankings go back 2 years.

this is what makes him great. it is called focus. if mickelson had it, he could rival tiger.

No, he wouldn't. Tiger is a prodigy. Don't compare Phil to Tiger, it's not fair. Compare Phil to Ernie, Vijay, Furyk, and people like that.
