I am in Oklahoma City. OU fans are unbelievable. They are still complaining about having to play LSU and Florida in Louisiana and Florida for the BCS Championship and how it should have been played on a neutral field. The sports talk guys up here are rediculous. They have a station called "The Sports Animal". And these guys are totally in agreement. I didn't call in (not worth the time). I've heard them on numerous occasions talk about LSU and Florida fans as the worse fans in the country. I would like to have asked them what happen to OU against WVU, Boise State and USC. All played on neutral fields and why was it that Texas went to USC and was able to come from behind and beat USC in the Rose Bowl for the BCS in front of all those USC fans. The Rose Bowl is closer to USC than New Orleans is to Baton Rouge or Miami is to Gainsville.

OU fans complaining... Can't say I'm suprised. They talk the most smack before the game and then complain the loudest afterwards.

They are the biggest whiners in college football. I'm in the military and every OU fan I meet hates the SEC because of OU's loses to the SEC in the BCS. It is easy to shoot back at them by asking "when's the last time they won a BCS game" (I like to bring up Boise State and the Statue of Liberty play to rub it in). My neighbor is a big OU fan and he sounds like a jealous teenage girl when we talk about college sports.

What about LSU when LSU had to beat Georgia, for a 2nd time in the yr, in Atlanta. Having the SEC championship every year in Atlanta is a benefit to some schools, but you do not hear LSU crying about it. Heck we had to play Georgia Tech Atlanta as well…..Or, ask them about how Texas did it to USC in the Rose Bowl…If your good enough you over come the home field advantage….

Living here in Tulsa you'll soon realize they are the biggest whiners in all of cfb

I know what you're talking about with them. I've heard them give excuses like that, plus "Jason White wasn't healthy" or "If there was one more quarter in that game OU would've have been National Champions." Its pathetic really...If they had a coach who could beat a good OOC team, then maybe they wouldn't be bitching so much.

I've actually had people tell me that OU dominated that entire game in 03. We got lucky from their perspective.

I was told "2 more minutes". I asked so the 60 minutes weren't enough maybe they should petition the NCAA for 62 minute games. I think most true rational OU fans know Stoops is the problem, but he does win in the WEAKXII. My father-in-law is and OU supporter and he told me Stoops coaches the fun out of the game (makes the players robotic) and they are done by bowl time.

if there was a coach who I legitimately thought was constipated or had a stick up his arse on the sidelines, it would be Stoops

True, however I will say that he is a great coach. Not very entertaining, but he gets the job done and pulls some of the best talent from around the country.

There are these two guys on the radio here one is Al Eschbach and the other Jim Traber and I'm not sure which one said it but they believe that OU has one of the toughest schedules in the country this year. What's funny is after the LSU game they said we were the worse fans anywhere. Then after the Florida game they said Florida is the worse fans they had ever seen. They really like the Bama fans. Of course the two times they played Bama, Bama wasn't too good and they beat them in Norman and at Bama two years in a row.

They said the same thing in TUlsa about how bad our fans were. They just don't seem to understand that not everyone is going to bow down to them and kisss the ground they walk on. I think that's what they really want.

I would be curious to know if the Texas fans left Omaha saying that LSU had the worse fans they had ever seen. I kind of doubt it.

I've been to an OU game, and they sit on their arse almost the whole game. When they do get off their arse, its to do that stupid O-U thing with their hands...thats about it. Our fans are up, and rowdy for most of the games, we're painted up and in your face. Thats just SEC football IMO.

Yeah they were real dominant. Just a play or two away from reaching 155 yds total offense. And how about that 2 yard scoring drive? Yeah, definitely dominant.

I have been to OU games. One of the most docile crowds I've ever seen. They have a great home record because they have 3 times the talent of most of the games they play there. Remember they play Texas on a neutral field. But they don't have years when Florida or teams of that caliber come to Norman every single year.
