Is it sold anywhere in Louisiana? If so what town and store? I looked at their website and couldn't find anything about specific stores, only distributors. Any info would be helpful, thanks in advance.

No, it's not sold in LA. I believe the closest state it sells in is AL. And it's good stuff, and very inexpensive. I drink it all the time when I visit my sister in Daphne, AL.

No, Ralph Brennan pushed for a law not allowing it to be sold here. You can thank him.

I think it's the Blossmans (owners of abita) who are supposed to always be conspiring politically against outside beer distribution.

Get it straight, bruh.

Being from philly, yeungling is THE beer of choice. Afterall it is the oldest brewery in America. The reason you can't find it in stores is partly due to yuengling's tradition of not shipping the beer too far from the brewery. There is one in Florida, which is why AL, but not Louisiana yet. Some stores do carry it if they can, and if you ask the dude in the liquor section at Albertsons they can help get kegs and larger orders. Only one bar in BR carries it that I've found, and its The Station.

I think the next time I'm visiting my sis, I'm going to buy a couple of cases of it and bring them back to NOLA with me. Good thinking.

A restaurant in BR on Coursey that rhymes with Mimes had some a little while ago. I fell in love with that stuff in DC and was shocked to see someone drinking it in LA. I don't think it is an official distribution.

It must be cheaper than Coors/Bud. They used to only have Coors Light in the fridge, and now every time I go it's Yeungling. It's all they buy pretty much. I was in shock when she told me how much it cost compared to how good it tastes.

I love Yeungling as well, and live in Mississippi where like Louisiana it isnt distributed or sold here. Closest you can find it is in Alabama across the state line from Pascagoula.

I asked a friend of mine who is a bartender here in Hattiesburg why they couldnt sell it, and he said it had to do with distribution laws between the state of Mississippi and Yeungling beer. There is also a similar law regarding to another beer i enjoy, Fat Tire. The closest you can find it is in ARKY.

Just got back from Chapel Hill and it was 9.99 for a 12 pack in every store that I saw.

There is actually a member of the Yeungling family living in BR. Nice guy. He had PLENTY of ice cold, frosty Yeungling beer in his fridge. He gave me a couple to sample, but I don't think I ever did.

I have seen Fat Tire in several Rouses throughout NOLA. Not sure if there is a Rouses in Slidell, but that is a much quicker trip then ARKY.
