re: Bachelor Party Camping Trip

Posted by LieutenantTiger on 7/8/14 at 11:02 pm to
Traveling from New Orleans. Not my usual crew, think this group of guys are low key, not a rowdy bunch. Unfortunately, don't think hookers will be involved. A house rental would also be cool if there is fishing or golf or something fun close by. No, it is not a same sex marriage.
Trying to plan a camping trip for a bachelor party in August or September (Groom's request.) Cabin Camping, don't plan on roughing it. Ideally, no more than a 4 hour drive in LA, MS, or AL, on the water or access to some fishing. Charter is not out of the question, but needs to be inexpensive. Looking for a more laid back guys trip with some outdoor activities available.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Normally, I'd be at a friend's house, or hosting a party at my house to watch. In DC on business til Saturday, and dont just want to watch from my hotel room alone.

Where to watch game in DC?

Posted by LieutenantTiger on 1/3/11 at 7:24 am
I'll be in the DC area (Springfield) Friday night for the game. Any knowledge of a good spot to watch the game? The DC Alumni page has two bars listed, Bailey's in Arlington and 18th Ammendment in downtown DC. But the page hasn't been updated in several months so I don't want to rely on that.

Any intel?

Sorry about the repost, but I looked through the board and didn't see the original thread before.

Anyway, I hear that Miss St. wouldn't take hime back because of his original decision to go to LSU. Seriously, his dad works at a hospital in Tupelo, and has mentioned what a hard time he has had because of the fan base in MS. They literally want to burn his house down. When you walk into Chris' dad's office, it is completely covered in LSU. I guess he will have to redesign his office with blue and, well, what ever the other color represents NSU?

It's a real shame for this kid. I here that he is super smart, and really understands the offense, better than our current starter and 2nd string. I hope he flourishes.

Just curious to know what everyone's thoughts were on LSU QB Chris Garrett signing with the Northwestern State University Demons of Natchitoches, LA today?

First Time Dad in Tiger Stadium

So, my wife and I are bringing our 3 month old son to his first game in Tiger Stadium. Will they let you in with a large diaper bag? Can you leave a stroller at the gate and expect to get it when you come back? Should I have posted this in the OT lounge?
Yep, I've had the Darrell's special, it is pretty awesome. Plan on getting it again while I'm there. Was hoping to find the best atmosphere for game. Will likely do Buffalo Wild Wings.

Where in Lake Charles. . .

/// There is also a similar law regarding to another beer i enjoy, Fat Tire. The closest you can find it is in ARKY. ///

I have seen Fat Tire in several Rouses throughout NOLA. Not sure if there is a Rouses in Slidell, but that is a much quicker trip then ARKY.

I wouldn't recommend the duck. I had it a few weeks ago and wasn't that impressed. Overcooked, skin not as crispy as you'd like, and I didn't care for the sauce. I did love the cabbage that came with it, however.

If they have a steak special, try that. Several of the people I was with had it and couldn't stop raving about it. And don't pass up on some of their charbroiled oysters.

Just got back from West End Smokehouse. Mostly Tiger fans, a few pigs. Haven't seen the tailgate sight yet, but we've seen lots of Tiger cars and trucks.
Razorback Inn, Little Rock Air Force Base.

$39 a night, 15 miles from the Stadium. Now that's a deal!!

Where to watch in Denver

Anyone know of a good spot to watch the LSU vs. Auburn game in Denver? I'll be up there for the Saints vs. Broncos game. Found a bar called Brooklyn's next to the stadium where the Alumni will be watching.

Any thoughts.
