Depends on how big the octopus is.
We know the shark is about the size of the Golden Gate Bridge.
If it is comparable in size, as much as I want to go with Mega Shark, I think the Giant Octopus and his ginormous arms would handle it.

mega shark is going to tear that pussy up. if it were giant squid, then i'd give the squid the edge. the octopus does get the edge in the brains department. the megashark just has too much brawn.
