Phelon Jones transferring to Bama

I guess Miles is a pretty classy guy and wants what is best for his players. It is very unselfish of him but he knows he is better off somewhere else.

I don't see this rumor on any Bama boards, don't believe it. We don't have any schollys for the next few years anyway. Bama has to unload some players.

that's not exactly a definitively true statement
Tyson Jackson takes approx. 75% of all plays off but he still started over Rahim ALem-Jones. And that's a lack of effort/heart issue which is WAAAAYYY less excusable than a lack of talent but gives his all issue.
One of the starters at CB last year was grossly inadequate but JE (who out-performed when given the chance) and Phelon (who never got a chance to show what he could do) sat. The list gets really long once you get into players who quit on the team or quit on themselves, etc. but still kept getting undeserved/unearned PT though there were promising younger guys just begging for a shot.

Maybe he was saying "Roll Tide!" to Phelon as kind of a "frick you!" because he's transferring to Auburn? I haven't heard anything about this on the Bama side of things.

During the recruiting process Jone's was bamas to lose, but Phelons dad did not like the way Saban yelled and cursed at players.
I'm sure Saban would some how find a place for Phelon, he does so every year anyway.
ETA: Phelon just said it himself he is off to bama, not sure if that is the school or just the state.
