I dont know about that havent seen any full updates on him yet but he would def fit the Chavis trend of making big safeties OLBs. At 6'2" or 6'3" and 210-215 as a high school junior he could def grow into a OLB with speed imo.

i cant wait for the rantards to get excited over the possibility of signing a Muncie and a Munchie in the same class.

If we sign Munchie, then I think we'll know for sure that one of Les's main goals in recruiting is to confuse the hell out of Hawthorne, hence all of the prospects with similar last names (Dickson/Dixon, Toliver/Tolliver), along with guys who change their legal name several weeks before the start of the regular season (Alem and Peterson).

i'd certainly hope so. he'd only have to put on 10-15 lbs

Will, you know anything about him?

He's a very smart player and has great size already around 218. He best skill is his solid pass coverage. Okie state and the Aggies really missed on a player that would have fit well in the pass happy Big 12.

Yeah it would be nice to see him report at LSU at about 225+ and keeping that speed and coverage ability

Is he related to former Saints RB Chuck Muncie?

With all due respect it would not take much of an effort!

Don't see him on the Texas top 100 list. Haven't even heard mention of him.

Coach Miles offered Luke this past week and the family drove over for the Spring Game with no intention of commiting. They were overwhelmed by the facilities, meeting Coach Miles and Coach C and Luke wanted to committ before the game yesterday afternoon. He had offers from Oklahoma and Alabama late Thursday afternoon as well and discussed it with the family well into last night. They met with CM at 9 this morning to accept the offer and RS and Loston were in the hallway to congradulate Luke. They then met with Coach C for an hour and he will be a OLB. They then had a campus tour with Sam Nader. The family was stunned with the class the whole process was handled by LSU and he is shutting everything down. Great kid from a super family that will come in at 225+.Luke is a hitting machine that will make a great addition to the 2010 class.
