Could you elaborate on this? I'm always down for learning the game.

Therefore, the MP53s would also be considered cavity backs... rendering this a stupid question?
Any opinions on the MP53s/AP2s for my situation?

Why not get a player's cavity? You still have some of the workability of blades and some forgiveness. A ton of pros use AP2's, i20's, R11's, etc.
Are AP2's not considered blades? I feel like that line is pretty similar to the Mizune MP53s. Am I mistaken?
Golf question- Learning to play with blades
Posted by TigerGold4 on 5/28/12 at 11:29 pm
I've been a casual golfer that has drifted away from the game for a while but is now looking to get back into it seriously. I was looking into a new set of clubs and have entertained the thought of getting the MP53 irons, even though my game isn't quite at "that level" yet.
I was looking for opinions on "learning" the game with blades but have heard from many that "they're too hard to hit" etc. The way I see it, I'm going to have these clubs for a while and I'd rather get the blades and push myself to improve and play well with them. Any thoughts?

I eat an illegal steak and chicken every time I go, fwiw. But I generally go to sleep immediately after.

Call it garbage time but Lonergan had about four pancakes on that final drive. Go and watch it.
Just sayin'.
Just sayin'.
Interesting Philosophy

Can't say it would be as effective at the college/pro levels but interesting nonetheless...

What are you talking about? I think it's great that Jefferson takes the ball 3 yards off the line of scrimmage, fails to attack the defensive end allowing the play to string out and finally result in a pitch for a loss of 4.
I love it!

Just watch them warm up before the game. The receivers line up and run streaks with nobody defending. Lee puts every ball on the money (like any decent quarterback should with nobody covering). Jefferson missed 6 receivers and numerous times they had to stop and come back for the ball.

Somebody needs to tell JJ...

To open his mouth when he is on college football live. He was mumbling and you could barely understand him.
I did like this part though:
"Alright Jordan, thanks or joining us."
"Alright."
Haha like those guys don't mean anything. I like it, figuring that by watching espn, I didn't even know lsu was playing Florida. I thought it was just a game to try and guess how Timmy Tebow's head was feeling.

You can only play the "terrible team" card for so long. Regardless, it's still the NFL and the guys are professionals. It's not like he's trying to compete in the NFL with a high school team. There's no excuse for the numbers he puts up.

He definitely is terrible running the option.
Are you sure? He seems to run it great. Or, wait... Doesn't the option mean to the quarterback takes it off the LOS and lets the end string the play out until a last second pitch resulting in a loss of four yards?

Haha. Thanks for telling us that he is not a runner. Not sure where this came from but your spontaneity is admired.

I bet you look in the mirror and chuckle at how funny you think you are.
I don't understand what you're trying to say. It's not like he's gonna suck in the NFL because he pushes off too much. That doesn't even make sense. But then you say the knock on him is that he pushes off.
You've pretty much agreed with me that he plays the game like an NFL receiver yet you whine that he does it. So I'm guessing you want the SEC to baby-fy football because AJ Green plays like a big boy and it's not fair?
You still don't have a point.

Green has made a career of doing it on tons of receptions, many of them long gains or game-changing catches.
YOU'RE NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO WHAT I'M SAYING!!!!
THEN WHAT ARE YOU SAYING??? It sounds like "Green has made a career of pushing off and catching touchdowns" while I'm saying "All the good receivers push off."

What is impressive about it? Anybody in the country who wasn't saying "run it" is flat out retarded.
