Why. Mental toughness, how he dominates his sport, his skill set for his sport, focus, intensity are all top notch. Those are all characteristics of an athlete.

Yeah I'm sure Jordan and his 290lb arse would kill Lebron athletically right now. Tiger would easily dunk on Lebron and outrun him too FWIW. They'd both manhandle Bron if they were to come to fisticuffs.

I would describe Peyton Manning with those same things, but he is a shitty athlete.
Tiger couldn't make it professionally in other sport except golf.
