Never been.

My kindergartener receives a award at school tomorrow, so she wants to go out for pizza tomorrow night. I thought DeAngelos would be a good choice since she can make her own pizza on Tuesday nights. But what is good for the Adults.

Or do you suggest another pizza place near Jones Creek area?

Thanks

I'd rather Godfather's. Seems like you have to ring out each slice at DeAngelo's.

Maybe try Johnny DeAngelo's... at least he supports TD.

Great place. Sensation salad, calamari, abita amber, portobello mushroom calzone. Pizza if you still have room (you will not)

Don't listen to the haters. They have good pizza. However, Johny DeAngelo's NY Pizza Co. is the best in town. Godfathers is also a good choice. Any other pizza place is likly to suck.

I like the calzones (pepperoni, artichokes & spinach) and mozzerella cheesy bread. They used to be much better in the past, but it is still a good family place to eat.

Thanks for the responses.

The only reason I "thunk" about it was because on Tues kids can make thier own pizza and thought it would be a treat, But If the Adult meal will suck them I will reconsider.

Was junk, IMHO.

ETA: what to get at DeAngelo's....can't go wrong with a pizza or calzone. There's better pizza in BR at a few different places, but not better calzones. Especially, if your daughter gets to make her own pizza...she'll enjoy it.

Calamari rocks too.

You can do this at Ruffino's, you realize?

If you go there, many, many good choices.

i think the world of louis, but johnny still has better pizza, imo ... the last time i went to deangelos i had to apply for a bailout the next day .. the place has gotten too fricking expensive for what it is, imo ... i'd rather:

johnny d's new york pizza
rotolo's
godfather's

in the southeast BR area ... the pizza at schlitz and giggles isn't much worse than deangelo's ..

this is my problem with the place. I like the food, but for the prices, I'd rather just pay a few bucks more and eat a nice italian restaurant.

yeah .. overall, the food has always been good, but not THAT good to charge THAT much more than anyone else at that level in town .. i feel like for just a few more bucks i can get a really nice meal at gino's or something ..
