is nicer than The New Box. Sorry, their outfield is done so much nicer than ours. Our bleachers in left field are trashy compared to what USC has wrapping around the foul pole. They have seats right up to the wall...not a walkway in the front of a portable metal bleacher. I love the box...but USC outdid us by a little bit.

Where you there ? Did you know it's not near campus ? That it's so far from the parking lots, fans have to be BUSSED in to the stadium? There's a LOT more to a stadium than bleachers. Make a trip to BOTH before you pass judgment.

The only part of USC's baseball stadium that looks nicer than LSU's is the outfield - except for the scoreboards - LSU's is better. However, I don't think LSU is finished with the new stadium. From what I've heard they are still trying to decide what to do with the area behind right field. LSU's grandstand is MUCH better. The only thing USC has up on LSU is chairback seats going all the way out.

The 360 concourse is nice, but not possible in Baton Rouge. South Carolina dug out their field. That isn't possible when building a stadium in the alluvial plain of the Mississippi River.

Dude...settle down. I just said the stadium. I know it's not near campus...neither is Williams-Brice. I am not talking about the fans...the atmosphere, etc. I know there's more than bleachers...

...I just said their stadium was nicer. I didn't say location is better, or fans are better, or any of that.

So shut it...and take my post for what it is...

...fricking Rantards.

The same guy said that playing at the box in 2000 was the greatest college baseball atmosphere he'd ever played in before going to Rosenblatt. He said LSU has the greatest college baseball fans in the country hands down.

I agree that usceast has a better outfield setup than we do. I believe that we have a better grandstand. Our scoreboard appeared larger thtn theirs. I think it's a tossup, or I give them a slight edge on overall stadium appearance.

I also feel that we did a great job on the new box, and if you go, you definitely feel like you're at the old box with a great facelift. I can give the nod to usc for a better setup, and still know that there is no place like the box, old or new.

I know we aren't done. I think a berm would be nicer than bleachers in right. To be right on top of the action is much nicer than sitting 10 feet behind the fence with people walking in front of you all the time.

Really like SC's new statdium. The field looks much better, mainly because the turf at the Box is way outdone by SC's. I like the stadium seating throughout and the berm in RF. I would have to see it in person to decide for myself however. Both look to be first class. Any preference would be due to personal taste.

How can anyone really compare SC's stadium with the new Alex Box???

Just the other day, I drove by the new Box, and there is NO WAY they will be ready to play baseball at that place anytime soon. Got a long way before that place can host a baseball game.

I guess this is an interview forum then? So you are telling me that you HAVE to go somewhere to decide whether it LOOKS nicer. I said nothing about the experience at the box. And that's the responses I get.

Like I said...idiots on here...yourself included.

By the way:

Have you been to USC's stadium?
Have you been to the New Box?
Did you go to the Old Box?
Did you go to SC's old stadium?
Have you experienced the fans at both stadiums?
How is traffic at both stadiums?
How is the food at both stadiums?
How do the toilets flush?
Do their toilets flush automatically or do you pull the handle?

Well duh the outfield bleachers are better. We used the ones from the Old Box. The turf is also much nicer, but then again it's apparently impossible to maintain turf at LSU.

Other than that, what else makes you say the ENTIRE stadium is nicer?

I like the bullpens behind the wall. I like walls where they embed screens to see through. I like the berm. I like their OF seating in left where you have the railing above the line and can sit RIGHT there. Our grandstand is nicer...but their OF is nicer. Their field is better too...
