I doubt the Bulldog will fail in Dreux's location.

The place on Sherwood where South of Philly is has been a mecca of failures..
It started out as a McDonalds Express, then the Copeland wrap place, then a Wholly mackeral or something like that, then a place whose name I can't remember, then Kingfish Grill and currently South of Philly.

The McDonald's Express was next door. It has been bulldozed. All that is left is the slab.
South of Philly is good. I hope they make it there.

No, Abe's was on George O'Neil, we loved that place, but none of the reincarnations.
The manager told me they were moving End Zone there.

There's a place in Mobile at Airport and Pinehill in Midtown. Has been 6 different restaurants in the last 9-10 years.

In Shreveport, on Youree Drive and I believe Pennsylvania, home of what used to be Mary's Thai Kitchen, Taos South Mexican, Clancy's Hamburger's and Couvillion's, among many, many others.

This thread has nothing to do with Shreveport.

That should be the coup de grace.

Phils did the same thing and it was stupid. He had a great thing going on Government.
It was criminal what Gus Piazza did (rest his soul, nevertheless).
He had one of the few classic dive type places in BR (and probably the only real authentic oyster bar), and abandoned it for that silly warehouse looking location.

Why the owner closed on his own, not because of bad business and now the Boiling Pot is in there and I dont see them going anywhere until crawfish season is up.

Not at the rate its going. Unless they keep getting shut down for TOO MANY people.

there's a spot on o'neal lane next to the car wash between south harrell's ferry and george o'neal that has prolly been at least five different restaurants that were not opened more than a month or so each .. it is now some type of mehicano bar that is packed with roofers until all hours of the night ..

I guess you are.
I haven't been there, but I suppose I need to one of these days.
Do you still have the oyster bar setup, like the old Phils had?
