How mad will the dems get when the VA gerrymander is struck down by their supreme court?

I'm no legal expert like most on here but the questions sure did seem like they will be inclined to affirm the lower court's decision to strike the plan.

They definitely didn't follow Virginia law, but we've seen courts rewrite laws too frequently lately for me to feel comfortable.

Redistricting.....this needs to be addressed on how it is handled, on both sides. It appears to be a congressional seat grab every time....

Anyhow, yes, the USSC should knock this one down and fast!

It goes to the Virginia Supreme Court, and they'll most likely knock it down.

i doubt it goes that far. The Virginia Supremes are in control. The questions they asked today were mostly directed at dems with a very skeptical tone.

That's just my 2cents. I will wait for my legal dream team to opine.

If the Dems take a loss in Virginia.... (let us pray)

... and DeSantis succeeds with his plan in Florida

We will see an epic meltdown on the left.

Let's not get over confident about it. The case is still in court.

The wording on the ballot was insane. It's getting shut down.

SFP said that the wording was flawless. Was he wrong?

I hope you're right, but somebody posted a picture of the judges that make up that Court. They looked like a bunch of virtue-signaling woke-joke fools to me.

I hope I'm wrong. We shall see.

I have not seen him say that but have no reason to doubt you.

They will make it seem like the the biggest threat to democracy since whatever happened yesterday. Also, it will be Trump who is pulling the strings.
