Jay Johnson is a much better coach…when he does his job! No doubt he failed miserably with player evaluations. After the Natty, Jay must have turned player evaluation and selection over to Smoke Laval.

Your complaints seem to be about player evaluation and procurement. Exactly how can that be addressed in the bottom of the 6th inning?

They are playing exactly like they practice and are coached. If LSU has position coaches, etc, JJ needs to relieve them of their duties and get some people in that are willing and know how to teach/coach these kids what winning baseball looks like. It appears that many, especially pitchers have forgotten what that looks like.

Is the team good enough to compete and win games? You went from 6-6 to 6-14 maybe 6-15. That’s misuse of your resources.

Lavas gets way too much hate here. Teams sucked in Omaha but comparing his teams to this train is completely wrong

It’s all about poor player evaluation..Jay obviously took time off to celebrate the Natty…if he brought in this group of players, then shame on him!!!

How about the players do their job. Everyone wants to blame the coach but the players are the ones not performing

Did the coach not teach the freaking pitcher how to toss the ball to first. These players can't handle pressure. There are no leaders on this team. They are all betas.

I doubt you could make many of these players any better than they are…they certainly aren’t quality SEC type players.
