Mine are that there looks like there's a road to re-sign Cam. They look a tad short on pash rusher.
Also, probably need 1 more FA class and 1 more good draft class before they are really ready.

DT-Kristian Boyd not still on the team?
CB is where we still need to add a proven veteran

I’m excited about our offense, but we have a glaring hole at RG. I hope Wright develops into a starter quickly.

Re-sign Cam and get a decent/vet CB then I can't complain.

They are missing Boyd at NT unless we cut him. We do not have space for Cam if the point is to get fresh legs and not waste the future on someone who isn't a part of it.
DE: C Granderson/ Tyree W
DT: B Bresee/ **
NT: C Miller*/ Godchaux/ Ridgeway*
DT: Broughton/ Shepherd
DE: C Young/ C Rumph
*Miller/ Ridgeway can both backup Bresee at DT
PS/ Bubble:
DE: Meyers Cole/ Micheal Heldman***
DT: I Coziah
NT: Boyd
DT: Keeshawn Silver***
DE: Fadil Diggs
If we are rating abilities based off measurements then Keeshawn Silver is comparable to Myles Garrett in a size vs size comparison. Garrett runs a 4.64 and Silveer a 5.0. Silver is 30lbs heavier and has a 2" longer wingspan than Garrett.
Boyd probably won't have a chance for a spot now. (1) of Diggs/ M Cole could prove something. I'm more interested in Heldman/ Silver.

They are probably cutting 2 or 3 WRs after minicamp

Most of our cuts will be WR, TE, RB. (31) roster spots between the 3 and we will keep about 15 or less.

Pretty damn accurate depth chart. Edit: Just noticed Boyd is missing at NT.
Definitely room to get Cam back if they aren't fully sold on Wilson. Rumph is decent but he isn't someone you rely on in critical situations (one thing about Cam is he could be clutch as frick).
Still looks like we need a vet corner while the rookies settle in. I'd be curious if Styles actually fits the star role, and relying on Hall and who we had before for depth is extremely dangerous.
May be worth waiting until after rookie camp unless the remaining FA CBs start drying up if we are really high on the rookies.
Other than edge and CB, the rest seems to be pretty solid. There will always be starters you can upgrade, but looks like everyone could at least competently fill that role (star being the biggest question), and we have a backup almost everywhere that could fill in for a bit.

I really hope we hang onto Audric Estime. When AK and Miller went down, he really played well at RB and catching it out the backfield.

quote:I think after rookie minicamp we definitely see some shuffling at the back end of WR to get a few bodies at other spots. HB also seems a bit overstuffed, but that one may be harder to call at the back end. TE could definitely be another, as well as some of the backend Oline depth.
They are probably cutting 2 or 3 WRs after minicamp
Some spots on defense definitely seem a lot more light in comparison, ILB and S in particular.

Which starter played like shite? Yes we can always upgrade, but none of the starters played poorly to where you felt like they weren't starters.
There are other starting positions we can talk about long before we get to the DBs.

Cesar Ruiz played below dogshit.

Yes he did and the other OG wasn't really better. Now we have a top OG in that spot and Ruiz can't actually play worse. So by default we 100% improved by a good bit. Edwards + a less mediocre Ruiz is still a massive jump. Then there's a chance Ruiz gets his shite together or Wright/ Saldiveri take his spot.
I'd rather hold my breathe, sign Bitonio, and trade Ruiz for something like Raiders 4th next year or a late 3rd. Even with his shitty play being able to start at OG/ C is solid asset. Ruiz/ Werner have the most trade valuable for guys we would get rid of.
