I could totally see him being a thorn in the saints side like Deion Jones was for many years

Probably to assume Kaden Ellis role since he went back to the saints.

Deion Jones was a Butkus Award finalist in college and an elite coverage linebacker in the NFL

Insulting comparison

I wasn’t comparing them as players. I’m just saying how Debo always went off against us when he was on the Falcons. In fairness though he kind of went off against everyone he’s had a helluva career.

Around 10-15% of 6th round picks play a regular season game, for reference

Less than 2% stick around on rosters for the long haul

Wishing him the best. Hopefully he finds a position and some motivation to play each down. He does that, he can be very good in the NFL.

As a Saints fan:

The “See ball? Go get ball!” skillset doesn’t translate that great to the NFL.

I wish him the best, but as somebody else here stated he is a linebacker with the skill set of a defensive tackle.

Debo Jones was an excellent college linebacker at LSU. Very productive

Perkins can’t hold his jock, unfortunately.
