Don't sleep on Vele either. He is a huge target. Need another WR or TE in the later rounds and Shough will have some weapons.

Yeah, if he's the best WR in the draft and you land him at 8, the only reason is because there is some other concern. The receiver room is looking pretty promising all of a sudden

Seeing that film, Leavitt did not do him any favors to be able to catch and run at full speed. He had to slow down/go low for a lot of those passes.

This part can not be overstated. A strong, high character locker room is a foundation of a successful team. Look at how we imploded when we had the character risk players causing rifts in the locker room. We have cut off the necrotic ones and turned this into a strong group of men.

Vele is a beast and an outstanding wr3. We saw the chemistry between him and Shough become something exciting at the end of the season before he got hurt. Seemed like every time we made a big clutch play, it was to Vele.
