In honor of “Michael” premiering tomorrow.. what is your favorite MJ song?

Not only my favorite of his but in my top 5 favorite songs ever.
The orchestral intro is from Beethoven’s 9th, and the interlude that follows is incredible. The key changes in the refrain are incredible. I can do without the spoken word outro, but Micheal could do whatever he wanted musically speaking.

Honorable mention is old faithful. The bass line and specifically the crescendoing horn section in the intro is out of this fricking world.
Grandpa was in his late 20’s around the time Off the Wall was released and he said it was a mad dash to the dance floor when the needle dropped on this one.
Really wish horn sections would make a comeback.

Agreed. "Off the Wall" is also my favorite song of his. "Remember the Time" and "Rock With You" are up there. "Girlfriend", written by McCartney, is an underrated MJ song.
