The government is now requiring banks to verify citizenship and legal status for accounts.

At the same time, ICE is sending illegal aliens formal notices that they owe money for failing to leave the country after final removal orders. 1,000 a day some owe millions- and they have been told this.

Put those two things together and the next logical step becomes clear.

Once the accounts tied to people with standing deportation orders, or who cannot prove citizenship are identified, the Treasury, I believe, will almost certainly move to seize those funds and any property associated with them. This would include VISA overstays who are technically not legal. Their bank accounts, their cars, their homes, their businesses will all be seized.

They won’t announce it in advance. They don’t want to give anyone a heads-up or time to move money offshore.

This is how you start clawing back what was taken from American taxpayers - money spent on benefits, healthcare, education, and enforcement that never should have been necessary in the first place.

If there is one thing our government is great at it is seizing assets.

For years we watched not billions, but Trillions flow out in remittances, welfare, and uncompensated care while American workers got pushed aside. Identifying the accounts is the first real step toward reversing that flow.

The pattern is straightforward: enforce the law, locate the assets, recover what belongs to the American people.

Oh and guess who loves the idea of the government seizing property more than anyone else?

Donald J Trump who used eminent domain repeatedly himself to build his empire.

It’s not complicated. It’s just long overdue.

Major banks like Bank of America, Chase, and Wells Fargo commonly accept foreign identification and an ITIN, according to NerdWallet and Bank of America.

You know what banks also require by law, a physical address verification in the form of a local drivers license, power or water bill in your name.

So now ICE will have a physical address as well, not the fictitious one you put on your immigration form. Then they will be certain you are getting the letter of 1,000 per day fine, and a little footnote we may be by to visit.

This is great! It willale a difference.

But our sorry arse Congress will not codify it into law so it won't be permanent.

And that's if some stupid judge doesn't block it.

Trump must force Congress to act to codify these things as well as impeach activist judges. THAT'S what we voted for.

I reckon the government saw great potential in the young Donald and knew they would see increased tax revenue from his development activity so the government forced the "private" owner to sell their property using laws of eminent domain.

It is too bad it is not done to property of these judges practicing lawfare in this country.

First of all, this is great.

But as someone that has hired legal aliens before, a lot of them just take their checks and pay to have them cashed. They don’t deposit them. Many don’t trust banks really due to the corruption in their home countries.
