It’s mf’ng DRAFT WEEK!!

We have looked at all the mocks. We have argued endlessly about ppl who willl never know our names. It is finally upon us gentleman.
I personally have changed my mind multiple times about which direction I hope the saints go. I think I’ve finally settled on hoping for Mansoor Delane or one of the top 3 receivers . I like Tyson the best but would be more than cool with Lemon or Tate. Tate is prob my least favorite of the 3 bc I kinda fear he benefited big time from being on the same team with a generational wr talent like J Smith and that he probably faced the lesser talented corners on most teams in most games. I don’t know that to be true and maybe he turns out to be the best in this class but just giving my reason as to why I like the other guys more. M Delane feels like a safe pick. Lockdown corner with blazing speed that plays well in both man and zone coverages. Fills a need and immediately makes our defense better. All of my hopes come for premium $$ position which helps the cap in coming years. Not that anyone asked but that’s where I am as of the beginning of draft week.

At this point, just ready for it to be over. This has been one of the more frustrating draft cycles with all the hot takes about how bad the class is, how varying all the grades are, all the smokescreens

I honestly have no clue this year. My guess will be Jordyn Tyson
But:
Every single time a player seems to be linked to the Saints, all of a sudden there is a report from some talking head about how that player is going to go in the top 6. They are definitely targeting Loomis trying to get him to move up

Yeah I hear that. My main wishes are that we don’t trade up and don’t take Bain. If none of those happen and we don’t make a completely retarded pick at 8 I’m good.

I am open to whatever, its not like I am sitting around watching a bunch of film on these guys or looking at their medical charts.
I just hate moving up. It always seems stupid unless you are already a very good team with a stacked roster that is missing one element.
We are not that. We are still a year away from being a year away.
We need more young cheap talent, not less. They did great last year. Do it again

Yep. All of that. The saints may throw us all a curveball and take fano or mauigoa. I really hope not and don’t see it but they’ve definitely made me go WTF in the first round a bunch of times.

Seems like the latest rumblings are that they want to get Shough a weapon at 8, then go defense heavy the rest of the draft.

Who falls is the question one of these will be available: Styles / Baily, If not then means either Delane / Tate.
I okay trading down within top15 if pick up a 2nd/ 3rd. Which gives better chance of finding a good value pick later.

I’ll never understand getting worked up about the draft. Look at how embarrassing last year turned out for dozens of posters here.

At this point I think we go receiver, unless the Jets do something stupid and one of the top 3 drops to us.
