80% of this team will be brand new next year. Some have quit and have to go down leagues or into D2. Others will notice, but I imagine the environment will be toxic the next few weekends.

I’m not sure what you expected. The team just isn’t very good. They aren’t going to just magically become better at baseball because Jay said something in a post game press conference.

Dardar saw consistent pitching for the first time in his life this year and mentally still chooses to approach every at bat like hes facing Iowa St every weekend (like last yr)
Simpson and Yorke are just straight outclassed every time they step in the box
Everyone pretending Caraway is different from the above forgets that the Pac12 was dismantled and OSU didnt plya anyone last year either.
We whiffed. Jay said it Friday night, and said overtly that his approach to the portal will change because of it. We wil focus on building within more than using the portal to bandaid holes

Some of this is on coaching and player development as well. A whole lot of highly ranked recruits that look unplayable and a whole lot of players that haven’t shown any progression.

There's zero leadership on this team. Just a few guys more worried about their pro prospects than what helps the team and a bunch of underdeveloped, undercaring players.
