Just FYI, I got to speak with the "ATT" Neighbor hood Area "Manager" the other day, while he was trying to sell the bundle.

After 2x of telling him I was not interested, he asked for some respect to let him talk and he needed to cool off because it was hot, from walking door to door soliciating the neighboorhood.

What would the OT have done in this situtation?

I let him finish, then told him no again. The young man left.

Kudos to the man for working it the right way and to you for your hospitality!

Granted, soliciting may be frowned upon

Tell him you’re losing signal and shut the door.

I would have told him to get the frick off my porch if he didn't immediately do so after being cordially asked the first time

Good for you cause I bit on the low price at my office. Super low price and he told me that two Internet Airs would give me fiber speeds. No ATT fiber yet at my office.

Told me they'd come back and set it up. Never showed even though the boxes came in two days later. Set it up myself and It totally sucked, no where close to fiber optic speeds.

So I canceled and ATT said they would send return boxes with return numbers.. Boxes never showed ,ATT support told me to return them UPS and it would be ok

Weeks later they said they never got them and they are charging me two fvcking grand! even though I have shipping receipts with UPS.

Customer support was rude and after 15 minutes she testily told me I had go to an ATT store to get it straightened out

Fvck AT&T

I just don't answer the door to begin with. Works 100% of the time.

I would’ve never opened the door to begin with.

I do have a no solicitation sign, which a lot ignore. At that point they are trespassing. If they insist on multiple knocks, I open the door with a shotgun in my hand and let them know the situation.

They may not even work for att. Sometimes, there are third party salesmen who just get a commission of how many people they sign up.

The real AT&T guys are called home service experts and I used to manage them in DFW

They are very good. This was probably a 3rd party. They do have strict guidelines they have to follow. Was he in a branded shirt with a name tag and shirt tucked in?

Had a visit from the internet manager who refused to take no. I complimented his strong type a approach and said he was wasting that on me. I told him he needed to consider a job in sales. where he would be sure to shine: banking, insurance , cars.

Contact the tv ad lawyers and apply to be their off the air salesman.

Most cities/towns have an ordinance against people soliciting door to door. In Zachary they have to go to city hall and pay $100 for a permit. I always ask to see their permit then tell politely to frick off.

This is BS. Tell him you are wasting time for both of us. I had a front door “salesman” get short with me one time like that. Pissed me off. I don’t care if you are giving away gold , I’m no longer dealing with you after that attitude.
