I can only imagine the types of people who get hooked up with jobs, not Buckley himself per say, but most of the people at the top of working for someone higher up in spots like these is generally through connections and relationships. The entitled class love themselves and money, I’m sure there’s so much ridiculous drama behind closed doors especially in Congress with staffers. Last admin presidency he got ate up with the Conway family drama and even his own family drama.

Sure, all Conservative admins have trouble here and there with the NEOCONs and deep state sewer rats. Even Reagan had his problem children back in the day. And dubya had a ton of back stabbing leakers. But Trump has put together and good second term staff.

As I understand it, Vance was big buddies with Charlie Kirk and Tucker Carlson. Charlie is now gone and he's cut off ties with Carlson. Which I suspect is why this Buckley assclown was told to pack his bags.
