Located in between Slidell and Pearl River. Really active tonight and I feel like it is kind of early.

I saw a winged one crawling on my bathroom floor which made me check the OT for reports.

No swarming tonight but I’m West St. Tammany. Probably happen in the next couple of nights.

Termites fly? I guess I’m uninformed.

Only one class of them. Think ants with their workers, solders, etc. Swarmers fly, then frick to create new colonies. Swarming season is among the OT’s least favorite time of year. This is oddly early, though.

Because there are Eastern Subterranean Termites that are swarming now. They swarm during daylight hours. In a few weeks, the formosans will start swarming.

Maybe the queen heard Zack Fradella’s forecast, and saw the cool spell is coming so they started the swarming party before the cold front arrives.

We just flew a spacecraft around moon at Mach 39.

You are living in that wake.
