Get with the Florida Seminole tribe and and get a deal with them like Florida State has and tell the rest of the tribes to frick off. Go back to Redskins as part of the deal

They are objecting to a spear? White people had spears long before arriving in North America.

Black people too, and with whites and blacks making up the majority of NFL players the spear should be allowed as their symbol.

The spear was not exclusively a Native American weapon.

The association should read up on some world history before flapping their offended gums.

I wonder if people from Nordic countries get mad about the Vikings?

It’s 2026. Why, honestly, are we still catering to Indians?

The 2025 budget for various Indian affairs and programs was $4.6 billion.

Why?

You know what, I stand with this Native American group but not for their nonsense reason. Rather, until the Redskins go back to being the Redskins they shouldn't use anything like this. Either go back to what your name should be or stand by your awful "commanders" name and logos.

Naw, can't do that because they're white.

I find the name Washington Redskins offensive. They should have changed it to the Arlington Redskins

Now that you mention it, that does look more like a wypepo spearhead. It more resembles a metal spearhead rather than a flint spearhead, thus is it clearly not related to the indigenous peoples of the Americas who had not learned the ways of metallurgy (apart from banging out a few bracelets and ornaments) before the white man arrived.

They need to put a logo out there with a coiled up cobra coming out of a basket with a turban guy blowing a piccolo. Still call them the Redskins
