Luckily there are lots of alternative routes due to the proper planning by DPW.

It’s not really a good time of day for that.

All of St George looks like a cluster on the traffic apps.

It is truly amazing how one strategic road closure can shut this town down. You knock-out Essen, Jefferson, Perkins, Bluebonnet or a portion of I-10 around there and it becones apocalyptic in a hurry.

I was stuck in it and my car broke down on me. So I walked to Casa Maria and just ordered a beer. Stop by and say hey.

Probably 10-15 years ago the interstate was shutdown for about 24hrs at the bluebonnet exit. LPG truck was rear-ended and they had to burn off the LPG instead of moving it.

I remember staying at drinking downtown rather than committing to that clusterfrick to drive to Pville.

They’ve been digging in the ROW in that area since yesterday. Someone must have hit a gas line.

Wonder if it was Rev cable. They broke multiple water and/or internet/tv lines in our subdivision and left a hot mess in many yards.

So, this seems an appropriate place to ask...

All the roadwork... is this because St George is spending its own money or something and getting all these improvements?

Or is this the people who plan this city wide being like ' Wanna see a traffic snarl?' as payback for leaving?

I was there yesterday and the crew running fiber in front of Buffalo Wild Wings knocked the traffic light off line. I’m sure they are the ones who took out the gas line today.
