Feels like a bad journalistic practice to sever a tie with the future starting QB because you're still not accepting that Lane is the head coach and want to still be mad at him but what do I know

God forbid we go after talented recruits that want to come here. They must be desperate. What losers they are. Lol
Sounds like a girl rejecting a guy who really likes her simply because he really likes her..

no one cares about moscona's opinion

That recent Locked on LSU episode about the whole Haven/Houston situation was a rough listen too. Not sure what the motive is.

His relative anti-Kiffin stance before he's even finished his first spring is so weird.
Seems like he was more of a BK and Woodward loyalist than an LSU fan.

Moscone is not Mr. clean. Mr. clean has a better take on sports and recruiting.

He’s always had horrible takes for years. He’s just an elitist dweeb.

Imagine if Haven went to Catholic HS…
Moscona probably would’ve said that to Kiffin’s face.

Doesn’t Kiffin go on AFR? Hopefully, Kiffin puts him in his place.

Pop has all the tools to be very special in Lane's offense.

All we need now is for Lane to re-tweet this lol

I listened to it. Houston's pop seems a little sensitive on this one to me, but I can see why he took it the way he did. Moscona was largely complimentary of both players.
I'm also not sure of the motivation or angle Moscona was going for here, but he's gotta fill air time with something that will get clicks I guess.
I've never received the impression that Moscona is anti-Kiffin.

Moscona is anti-Kiffin? I'm seriously asking because I don't listen to his shows

I was confused by this as well.
The only reason I can think is because Haven being from BR makes it more of a local interest story for BR sports media.

Nah, he's never been on AFR

Where did Matt and Scott go to high school? That was his dude and got tossed out. He's still pissed about it.

No disrespect to Houston but I don't believe he does anything at LSU except transfer out.
Why? Because LSU is going portal shopping for a QB every year or two.
Peyton would be better off going to a program where he will 100% be the starter. If he does that, then he can be the "big time" QB transfer that programs want. Otherwise, he sits on the bench waiting for his time and his time never comes because he doesn't have "experience" like the portal QBs.

No doubt its hard to keep anyone on your roster multiple years without playing. Best case for Peyton here is Clark/Longstreet are 1 and done his freshman year here and he can compete in year 2.
He has little path to seeing much action in year 1 (although if 1 of them transferred out, he suddenly becomes right in the mix), as most QBs frankly dont, the key is to get him to stick around for year 2...but if Clark/Longstreet both come back for a 2nd season starting between the 2 of them, it could mean Peyton transfers out.
The situations now are so fluid its hard to project out more than 1 year anyways.
