LA school strike

The Los Angeles unified school district strike that was suppose to take place today was averted. The teachers union agreed to a deal that would teacher pay by 13.86%. Starting teachers salary would be 77,000 dollars. Seems like they are going to take care of the teachers and workers in LA. Maybe Louisiana teachers could learn a lesson from this and just walkout a couple of days and get a substantial increase in pay.

There's a reason it's not shite and the teachers and anyone else supporting these ultra-liberal policies in CA are too blame as much as the Newsums and the Pelosis.

frick the slimy public sector unions. I'd be on board with supporting raises for teachers if they'd ditch their liberal union.

Any increase in teacher pay must include ending pensions.
Until then, teachers are overpaid.

Teachers in classrooms are about to become obsolete.

What added benefit did they agree to provide for the extra money?

I would recommend doing away with tenure as well and make an individual's continued employment as a teacher an "at will" decision by the school board.

In that area, I doubt teachers make a bit of difference. Just put a cardboard cutout in front of the classroom

frick the teachers unions slime balls. The Public schools are shut and not good bc of the public schools teachers, Those slime balls are unionized by a majority of people that are not good humans and also do not have any American values

Absolutely. Teachers want to scream "we're underpaid" while enjoying the most favorable and one-sided (against the employer/taxpayer) work contracts known to mankind. Sorry your guaranteed income farm doesn't pay as much as jobs where the risk is all on the employee.
