In my opinion it was 2019. Football natty, mens basketball sweet 16, baseball didn't make it to cws but was decent.
What was you guys favorite year?

LSU basketball didn't make the final four that year.

In year '86 we went to the Final Four, World Series, and Sugar Bowl.

I’d say 2000 was a pretty solid year. Baseball wins it all, football with Nick announces they are back, basketball wins the regular season SEC

2003-2004
Saw my the first National championship in my lifetime after years of miserable football.
LSU Baseball went to Omaha a few months later.
Brady ball had a winning record. If I’m correct we might even been ranked for 3 seconds.
Women made the final four

Don't overlook 1961. Football: Co-champions of the SEC, and crushed Big8 Champion in Orange Bowl. Baseball: SEC regular season champions (no conference tournament, no NCAA appearance because of segregation). Basketball: winning season, exciting players: Natin, Cooper, Chase.

I think it's either 1986 or 2019 but I might have to give the nod to 1986. We won the conference in football and baseball and played in the Sugar Bowl, CWS, and Final 4 in MBB. Hard to top that.

2028 will go down as the best year in LSU athletics, whenever the Big 3 all win a Natty.

2019 and 1986 were the two years I was thinking of. As an LSU and Celtics fan, that 1986 Celtics team may have been one of the best ever with Walton's last good year and Bird at his peak.

1986 - look it up
LSU baseball - first ever SEC tourney title, first ever regional title, first ever CWS appearance
LSU basketball - Final Four appearance, lowest seed to ever make it there
LSU football - 1986 SEC champs
that is what is called a hat trick

There were years with more total championships but the 2019 lsu team is the greatest college football team in history. My vote is 2019
