Rory tried as hard as he could to throw away last years masters

But no one took it and he came through in a playoff hole. Rory is definitely kind of a choker but since he did win last year he will avoid the label. 6 stroke lead with 36 to play and currently +2 since then with a field that has made scoring look pretty easy. He got his masters though he doesn’t really care anymore it’s just bonus from here on out per him. F that

He has a tendency to choke, but at least he has the dubs in Majors unlike Sam Burns.

Rory is the best golfer of his generation. Possibly with Scottie, if he’s included in with Rory. You might not like him, but for him to have won 4 majors at something like 25, and break through 10 years later for the career grand slam was impressive. He’s still likely to win 2-3 more majors before he hangs it up. He will go down with one of the best careers ever.

In these threads it’s always easy to find the posters that have never played golf and don’t watch much. Rory is grinding his arse off out there. Obviously fighting something in his swing.

I never thought he'd come close to Mickelson but with another 10 years he (and scottie imo) could end up as the best (non tiger/jack) golfer since Arnold Palmer
