Is just how bad we look overall as a team. We are weak in every phase of the game. What’s the biggest thing that Jay needs to address after the season? Cuz it feels like we need a complete overhaul with the exception of maybe a hand full of individuals.

They’ll need to replace the entire outfield and most likely need a short stop. A 2nd baseman wouldn’t hurt either.

Gonna be hard to replace Milam. And we seem to have no one that is great or even decent at any other position.

Pearson and Serna will be in the Line up Braun probably will to Schmidt and Evans will be in the rotation. Everything else is unknown.

Successful teams going forward will require two things, irrespective the sport

*a dependable core of program players;

*with a handful of hired hands, and

the first asterisk never gives way to the second

It’s not really as big of a concern in the portal era. We’re going to have to go crazy in it though

Pearson is bad at third, we do not have a second baseman, our first baseman is terrible, both catchers are horrendous behind the plate, and the pitching is terrible. That about sums it up.

Is this not the understatement of this season?

I told somebody today. I was more confident in the 2024 LSU team that started out 3 and whatever in SEC play than I am this team. This team fricking sucks

That team started off with a brutal schedule. This team is playing the bottom half of the league right now.

If Pearson is in our starting line up next year then it will look a lot like this year!!

We’re in for some lean times, clearly in the bottom 5 of SEC teams right now.

Our infield is terrible as well outside of Milam.

Always up the middle. Catcher, pitching, shortstop, second and center field. Then the rest. We need everything

Two strike approach, bunting/hit and run to advance runners and open space for hitters. Give an opposing defense and pitchers something to worry about.

Play defense straight up. Shift within your position based on the count and data, but not the extreme bs.

Relief pitchers get no leash. Always have a guy ready after 4th.
