I’m a Reverse Fair Weather Fan now

I’ve been amazed how many people sink their entire lives and souls into things like this. Hug your family and enjoy life. It’s just not that serious.

I have become a fair weather fan for all sports the last few years. Sports is nothing but entertainment. If it’s not entertaining me. I’m not watching.

This is how I am for all sports. If I'm not enjoying the product on tv, I change the channel or turn it off all together. My life doesn't change one way or the other if my team wins or loses.

I turned the game off today half way through.

I NEVER do that unless it’s a really late game and I have to work.

In my experience the people who do this more times than not don’t have the relationships or inner peace to

So they put a large chunk of their identity into stuff like fandom for a sports team trying to fill a deep a hole in their lives. It takes all kinds I guess.
