If there is any group of people I will take political and life advice from, it's definitely the ones who have been on this planet for less time than some of the shirts in my closet.
The "you only think that way because Trump tells you" trope is tired. It's not an intelligent argument. It's emotional and unconvincing. It's simply lashing out.
At the very least, you can be more creative and original so making fun of you won't seem like such a chore.
Most boomers I know have never championed Massie's libertarian ideals. Most boomers had to grow up in reality instead libertarian fantasy land where everyone gets along and nothing bad happens as long as you stick to your "principles" and wish upon a star.
Libertarianism is the down's syndrome of political ideologies. Sorry you fell for it.
