LINK

Same douche who endorsed Sharon Broome for mayor/president of EBR who turned out to be the worst this city has ever seen. Wade is seen by most lsu fans as someone who was doing what everyone else in the sport was doing and is now perfectly acceptable. Wrong again, Rolfe.

The article frames Wade’s rehiring as unjustified by labeling him a “cheater,” despite what he got caught doing is no longer an issue (paying players). This reeks of "old man is pissed he's no longer in fat Scott's club."

These are just fabricated "hot takes" for the sole purpose of attention seeking.

That aside, I'm still waiting for the outrage article demanding LSU take down the statue of a CONVICTED FELON it prominently displays in front of Tiger Stadium. Or the removal of Dale Brown's name from the court. If you are going to virtue signal, at least be consistent

Wade was fired for doing something, allegedly paying players, that is not only no longer "illegal", but mandatory if a college team wants even remotely good players. Of course, that inconvenient truth and context kind of rains on the virtue signaling parade.

There is no more media. It's all propaganda and entertainment. If you're still watching mainstream news there's no hope for you.. Local news too for that matter.

What would you think would happen if some editor of a rag in Durham wrote an article ripping Coach K for Duke buying Zion's Mom a $900K House?

I get it. On the surface it is an odd deal to see a school fire a coach because of alleged (and ultimately sanctioned) NCAA rules violations, only to then rehire him just 4 years later. But to pontificate that LSU has no "scruples" by rehiring him totally ignores the context of how much the sport has changed since the "illegal" conduct was committed.

He is close to the group that brought Scott in and thought he could do no wrong. Just sour grapes his guy was an epic failure, and with Wade coming back it will only further highlight how big of a failure Scott really was at LSU.
