We would have to of lost for that not to be a fallacy. Iran has had their arse kicked in every facet and we did it from literally thousands of miles from our homeland.

This video attaches an interesting geopolitical strategy to an entirely false premise.
I can see why spending US resources to open the strait could be against our strategic interests, and the tie in to the envelope pushing re: Canada, Mexico, Greenland makes decent sense. The rest is just conjecture and wishcasting.
