He showed flashes of brilliance as a rookie, but durability and concentration is an issue. How many remember in the NFC Championship game against the Bears we actually had some momentum on offense and were moving the ball until his fumble. This past season he dropped way to many easy passes. Physical freak yes, franchise receiver, not yet.

His rookie year is not a good barometer. He even admitted that teams were ignoring him. I do think he has the attitude and physical skills to be everything we want him to be, he just needs to stay healthy enough to prove it.

eh, I think he is a very good receiver who got injured at the start of the year and was probably not 100% the entire year

wow, another low for saints fans, remember when Brees threw the 2 Ints against Tampa in the final minutes last season, I guess we shouldn't be sold on him either.

Last year against the Falcons in ATL, he allowed smaller cornerbacks like Chris Houston and Foxworth to jam him at the line and knock him off his routes. He's too big to let that happen.

are we forgetting his sophmore year?

98 1202yds 11tds 14 catches over 20 yds

Going into last season didn't he have the most receptions in the history of the league for a 2 year player? That isn't a flash.

He fricking tore a ligament in his thumb and had surgery. I think many receivers wouldn't even try to play after this as soon as he did. He certainly wasn't 100% until the last few games.

How did he finish the last three games?
22rec 306yds 4tds

Bush I wouldn't peep about someone not being sold on. Colston?? What does it take???

The truth is usually somewhere in the middle.

It depends on what you mean by sold. If you think i'm sold that Colston is a name that belongs with names like Fitzgerald and is a top 5 WR in the NFL... i would say I agree and don't think Colston is THAT good but I do think Colston can be a very nice "No. 1" receiver in our offense especially if we can upgrade the No. 2 WR and we also have Jeremy Shockey and Reggie Bush catching balls out of the backfield, Colston can excel very well in those kinds of conditions.

try pulling a ligament in your arse and see if you can still spew out shite as well as you do here, then you'll understand what tearing a ligament on the thumb of a receiver is like.

go eat a bullit
