Where can we go for all-you-can-eat Snow Crabs dinner date?

Besides the Juicy and Fiery seafood places.

Open to a radius of 2 hours around Baton Rouge.

Thanks!

Do yourself a favor, get some from Albertsons or rouses, already steamed and treat your lady to a candlelight dinner at home without the nonsense

ETA: you can Catch them on sale and have more than you can eat and STILL pay less than an AYCE price and the madness that goes with it

It's me... the lady!
We've done the at home snow crabs and we haven't found any that were good.
I feel like the previously frozen- freezer case ones all have that freezer burnt taste.

...

Are...are you under the impression that crab places aren't using frozen crabs?

Do you think they are hauling in snow crabs from the gulf?

Hate to break it to you, but pretty much all seafood is previously frozen. Everything's packed on ice in refrigerated trucks.

It's why it's almost better to buy frozen bc the "fresh" at the store is USUALLY thawed.

You realize the closest place to catch snow crab is Alaska right?

Maybe the Food/Drink board would be a better place.

In ATL, you can go to The Juicy Crab for what you desire as well as a cultural experience!

Silver Slipper should be in that radius.

If you wanted all you can eat crabs y’all shouldn’t have gotten legally married and then you could’ve signed up for an ebt card as a “single” mom

That’s what the Mormons do

seems like most casinos have a crab leg buffet every week. I have never had snow crabs so i have no idea other than hearing people at work talk about getting them at casinos...i don't think i would go to the fiery crab type places

She’s not exactly asking for a snow crab recipe.

Ok, well I don't hang out here all the time. Didn't think I would get scorned for "being on the wrong board".

I do know that every place has previously frozen seafood.
I should've eliminated that comment.
But the point is we want to GET AWAY from the house.

Lauberge has them on Fridays and Saturday but I know they sometimes switch to AYCE crawfish during crawfish season.

Make the drive to Silver Slipper or some of the Biloxi/Gulfport Casinos that have them.

There are a few seafood buffets in South LA that sometimes have them like a place in Ville Platte and Loranger. I forget the names of those.
