All of this happened after Mason Braun came in for Yorke in the 9th, this is a sign that he needs to stay on the bench, we are a much better team when he’s not on the field

Unfortunately Jay was tossed so he didn’t see any of it.. he’ll suit up next weekend.

Plus plus scenario today. Yorke nearly blew another game and we still got the W. Arrambide’s not coming out of the lineup for a while and Yamin played well enough as DH to earn a shot at 1B when Serna’s catching.

If you think this happened because Yorke was benched, there is no help for you. The kid is struggling for sure and he may need to be benched. But him being benched had nothing to do with the offensive shift. I would put more stock in us getting deep into their bullpen.

Somebody said it in the game thread but Braun working a walk top 9 when he had 2 strikes will get lost in the big picture of this game but was absolutely massive. Veteran AB

The real question is, did Braun come in for Yorke because the other coaches could finally get passed Jay to make that call.

Braun’s AB was massive bc his walk ended up being the tying run.
Yorke may have walked but more likely would have popped up.

I would have York in the weight room at least 3 days a week and and running 2 miles twice a week....he needs to get in better shape.

Come on man, he can't hit SEC pitching. You may as well bring a kid up from the minors over night to the majors.
